Sunday, July 5

Ethan brought out some people this morning including his girlfriend, Anna, brother Jeffrey and his girlfriend, and another couple from Massachusetts. I helped them get ashore and gave them the lighthouse tour. Brenda stayed down below in the museum and store. A little later some others arrived and took a quick walk around the house. They were not interested in going in the lighthouse and left a few minutes later.

Brenda and I walked down to Cobblestone Beach trail and hiked the loop around the east end of the island all the way to the Cove trail. This route consists of large rocks and boulders and can only be done at low tide. We both picked up walking sticks and made our way along the shore. It took us about an hour. Brenda did a great job of rock hopping and keeping pace.

Weather today was nice, not as warm as yesterday but the sun was shining, no fog around and no rain. If you can believe the weather man we should be enjoying better weather for the next few weeks.

I started up the grill for the first time and we had burgers for dinner.

There are going to be more fireworks tonight, from Sebasco and Bath. We’ll be looking!
