The new month dawned bright and clear. Back at the cove, Brenda and I continued to mow, trim and clean up the camping area. The scouts left it in great shape but I wanted to remove the remnants of an old fire pit. After digging with shovel and a huge spike (which doubled as a digging bar), I got the old metal out and returned the area to its natural state.
The rest of the day was spent on the trail to the lighthouse and the south trail. This grass grows fast!
At 2100 I was going out to put the mower away when I noticed some people walking around. I wondered if this was my first encounter with some of the Seguin ghosts, but that was not the case.
An Outward Bound Group had moored in the cove to spend the night. There were two open boats with about fifteen people in them. Their journey began over a month ago in Key Largo, Florida. I opened the lighthouse and gave them a tour. They were most appreciative and asked if there was some community service work they could do on the island at a later date. I told them to contact FOSI and we could work something out.

Still no light?! Wow.
Loved reading your posts, and great pics! I have a really good one of the two of you at Dave's. Will get it to you somehow.
Will keep checking in.
All the best!
