Foggy this morning. The horn was going most of the night. The horn is not bothersome. You can certainly hear it but it is not overpowering. The light is also burning bright.
Brenda spent the first couple of hours preparing the dining room for painting. She took all the nails and screws out, washed the walls down and moved the furniture out. Next is to fill the holes and paint. It will look great when she is done. Brenda has a great eye for color and is an excellent painter.
Not me! I stink at painting. So, back to the cove I went. This time I cleaned and organized the engine house. This took me all day and I’m still not done. Mixed up some herbicide to use but the sprayer won’t hold pressure. Oh well, another fix to add to the list. Not many lobstermen out today. Friday, fog, day off… I don’t know. They seem to work seven days a week and most work alone. Times are tough here also.
Back at the house, Brenda was working on the garden and transplanting the flowers we bought on Wednesday. The place is shaping up.
Heard on the weather that there is a significant offshore storm in the Atlantic to the south of us, but here we are quiet, no rain and relatively calm seas. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
